Responsibilities

  • Proficient with HPLC, Titrations, Karl Fisher Titration, Loss on Drying, Viscometer and other techniques.
  • HPLC method development and experience preferred.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure that all equipment calibrations
  • are up to date.
  • Experience writing SOPs and STPs.
  • Support R&D activities and protocol execution as needed
  • Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to HPLC and other lab equipment
  • Conformance testing of failed analysis (OOS), write & perform area
  • investigations as needed
  • Raw material testing, and finish product testing as needed
  • Technology support to chemists and train new employees
  • Raw material specification review
  • Testing and approval of raw materials, and extension reviews of raw
  • material
  • Data review and timely release of raw materials, bulk product and finished
  • product
  • Provide timely consolidated reports to the Quality Manager
  • Other duties as determined by the Quality Manager

 

Requirements

  • Preferably a Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in chemistry or related field
  • 5 years or more of experience in a Quality Control Laboratory environment.
  • Familiarity with FDA and CFR, as well as other regulated industries.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once all while
  • ensuring that quality and standards are met
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Must be fluent in English, and have good oral, written & listening skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Must be available for flexible hours.
  • Adaptable and quick to learn new processes and tools.
  • Has a “whatever it takes” attitude.
  • A track record of performance meeting targets and objectives.
  • Self-directed, goal-oriented and flexible, enjoying working in a fast-paced and at times challenging environment.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
