NOTICE OF CAR WRAP AND JOB OFFER SCAMS!

It has come to our attention that some people pretending to represent Vital Pharmaceuticals, Inc., d/b/a Bang Energy and VPX Sports, are posting FAKE “Promotional Specialist” or “Brand Ambassador” employment opportunities on the Internet, most commonly on Indeed or Craigslist, but also Facebook and possibly Instagram. Sometimes an “opportunity” might be sent in an unsolicited email.
Typically, these offers promise to pay you for having your car wrapped (i.e., decaled) with VPX or Bang signage. The scammer will offer to send a check to cover the cost of the decal and a week’s pay. When you deposit the check at your bank, the scammer will ask you to immediately transfer (by PayPal or MoneyGram or other untraceable service) the decal payment to an “installer” or “specialist.” You will then find out that the check you deposited will not clear, and that you’re out $2,000 or more. This is how these scammers make their money.

OUR COMPANY DOES NOT HAVE A CAR WRAPPING PROGRAM.

VPX WILL NOT ASK YOU TO SEND MONEY TO ANYONE AS PART OF ANY PROMOTION OR PROJECT

If you are contacted by these scammers, please let our Customer Service team know by emailing them at [email protected]  We also suggest that you file a complaint with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) at ftc.gov/complaint — select Scams and Rip-offs.  For additional information regarding car wrap scams, we suggest you visiting the FTC’s website at https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/blog/2016/08/how-spot-car-wrap-scam.
